What is glitter made of?

How is glitter made?.................?

  • This is just a weird question that popped into my head. Are there glitter factories? I looked it up and one site said it's made when a metallic sheet of plastic is cut into minute pieces, but how exactly is that done? My dad thought it would be cut like a grid with razors but I argued that most glitter isn't square, it's round. I thought maybe it was done with thousands of tiny needle-like tubes that punch holes in the sheet of plastic to create the glitter. Does anyone actually know how it's made? I'd be interested to find out ^_^

  • Answer:

when pixies fly into the sun the sun then starts to decompose and the whirling supernova will eventually dry out and mass chunks of glitter are formed but then asteroids hit it and it breaks down into smaller pieces. this process is repeated until the glitter is small enough for neil armstrong to capture.

First, there was a guy that came in a train accident, he survived, but instead of birds he saw glitters around his head. He took some and with those glitters he made more glitters. With more glitters he made even more glitters and so he did the rest of his life, and now there are enough glitters for every 8 year old girl that loves glitters.
