How do you make a 'pop art?

How can I make a pop art from my pictures?

  • I am wanting to make a pop art, Andy Warhol type Picture. ( http://www.mypopart.com/Products/Warhol/fourpanel.html ) can anyone tell me how to do it? I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0, don't know if I could do it on that program. I don't even know how to put more that one picture on the page. I know a lot about computers, but not really the graphic end. So if someone can help that would be great! Thanks!! :)

    Photoshop Elements 4, http://news.softpedia.com/images/reviews/large/AdobePhotoshopElements4_012_Large.png you should be able to use PE4, and do even more effects, for practice open a copy of any image, and make duplicate copy of background layer, then use image, levels, hue saturation, and curves, for changing some colors, if you like something save layer and create new layer, also change to black and white duotone, none gray, and with white areas paint color, and black areas, either leave or change selected areas to variations of colors, then there are filters like sketch items, that you can alter images with as well, there are some tools online like flickr toys, http://www.bighugelabs.com/flickr/ ..

Elements should be fine for creating pop art. I use Paint Shop pro myself, but elements should be fine. Start by going over every tool, and every option of every tool... If there is a term you don't know google it, or ask.. You can also google pop art and elements and I am sure there are a handful of tutorials out there. -HtJ

Turn your photos into black and white or "reverse negatives" and then hand paint them with colors using the paint brush tool in the software.
