What design school is the best in the UK?

Do you know any concept art / entertainment design / visual development art schools in the UK etc?

• I'm desperately looking for a school that i can go to in order to study to become a concept artist/ visual development artist. I have searched lots and cannot find anything UK based. After looking into international school such as FZD (Feng Zhu Design) in Singapore, the Gnomon school in Hollywood; I am having problems finding a school which i can complete a course (1-2 years long max) and be able to get a Visa for. I really want to go for the Gnomon school and have been speaking with them lots about it but am so far unable to get a visa for the US! Does anyone know of a UK based school or other concept art schools which I could go to? Many thanks!

  Hi Katie, There are a couple different options at Gnomon, but each require a portfolio to get accepted. The two year Digital Production program focuses on 3D and requires a strong traditional portfolio for acceptance. The Maya Fast Track program is a nine week course in Maya that allows students to study at Gnomon for up to one year. This requires a 3D portfolio for acceptance. These students study in the Maya Fast Track program for one term and then have up to three additional terms to take courses of their choice. Many students focus on concept art courses in their later terms. International students also choose to take courses at Gnomon while on their visitors visas, but must be in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by their country of permanent residence. In some instances, it may not be possible to study in the US while on a tourist or visitors visa. For clarification on the rules that apply to you, it is highly recommended that you speak with a representative at your local US Embassy or Consulate before proceeding with the Gnomon registration process.
