How to make hair out of clay?

How do you make Elfen Lied diclonius horns with Sculpey Oven Bake Clay? 5 POINTS 10 STARS!?

• Hey, I am trying to make some Elfen Lied horns for a costume! I don't have much experience with clay and I just need a tutorial, or something that will give me step-by-step instructions on how to make them. :) It would be awsome if one of you guys could give me some info on it! I have Sculpey Oven Bake Clay and some black cord..but I am not sure if I should just use a thin headband..like to pull up hair, only you would comb over the cord or headband. My neighbor is telling me that I should use a headband and be done with it, but I am having trouble with getting it put on. I already di a prototype and it crumbled when I put them on my head. But I am going with the cord. I was trying to get Magic Strech cord but I could'nt find at the place I was at. T_T I realy apreciate anyone who tryins to help!   Okay, The horns are essentially two triangles, one glued on the other, and one side folded over to create the top edge. If yours crumbled you made them too thin. I think it would work at a little less than a quarter of an inch. As for a headband, I recommend you buy a hard plastic head band, not the elastic head band. You could then glue the ears to the head band with a clear caulk or Hard as Nails. If you need more help you may email me through my profile here at Yahoo! Answers.
