Where can I buy Aztec Healing Clay?

What clay should I buy for crafting?

  • I'm new to crafting with clay, I used normal air dry clay... but my sculptures wouldn't stay, i need some sort of crafting clay? But I don't know what it might be called, and I don't know if I'm supposed to get that soft clay? or that bake clay. I want to make little figures of mario characters and stuff.. i really don't know anything about the clay i need. Please help! thank you soo much for your time!

  • Answer:

If you don't like air-dry clay the next step would be polymer clay. Common brand names are sculpey or fimo. You will have to bake that clay in the oven. Make sure you need the instructions which come with the clay. You could also go to the library and take out a few books about crafting with polymer clay.

You could also take the next step and take classes in ceramics or pottery The answer about polymer clay is good if there is nothing else available locally Finding a local class that meets one or two times a week would let you try ceramic clay that is fired in a kiln this could run 150 to 550 dollars If you give a city I may be able to find somthing http://ceramicartsdaily.org/education/classes/
