Unique wood carvings. What are they?

  • Hi my name is Julie and I'm a student. I also help my mom with a small antique business on the side. We usually specialize in vintage jewelry and crystal. We recently came across some wood carvings and have no idea what they are. If anyone could give me information on them I would greatly appreciate it! The link below will take you to the pictures.     Cluttered slow loading background and small picture sizes don't help, but these look like carvings done in the style of Northwest Native art rather than African and look to be art for sale rather than useful objects diverted to the art market as they lack grips, etc. You might come up with larger images and contact one of the museums in the Seattle, Vancouver, or Alaska areas

Any chance of giving the size? They are probably African or Far Eastern, but I can't hazard more than a guess that they are tourist pieces rather than for a function in their country of origin. However, they are very pretty (not much help).
