Is it ok to use wax paper to heat modeling clay?
-
I just recently made a clay model of Kairi's lucky charm out of yellow Rose Art modeling clay. Is wax paper good to use while heating it?
-
Answer:
Unless you are warming it to soften it for further work - and modeling clay will soften when you warm it - you don't want to heat it much because you will watch it go sticky and melty. Wax paper or aluminum foil can be used. You do know that you can't harden modeling clay, don't you? http://www.mikegigi.com/modeling.htm#MODELINGCLAY
