What was the style of pottery/ceramics in the 1920's?

  The type of pottery in the mid-1920's and onwards was the Art Deco period, which emphasized strong geometric (angles and curves) lines and shapes, preferably in strong color contrasts such as black/white or black/silver, or bright colors on white (red/white, orange/white).
