If by 'slip' you mean liquid POP, that is its natural form. If you mean something that behaves like clay slip so you get a hollow form, that only works with a plaster mold that sucks the moisture from the material near the mold to thicken it and keep it in place when the remaining liquid is poured out. If you can't pour the plaster into the mold because it lacks an access point that is one problem, if it leaks, that is another. Leaks could be solved/reduced by using plasticine modeling clay (oil based) as caulk, rolling a thin line, pushed along the join line, and squashing it as you snap the mold closed. You can turn the two halves of the molded material into one by a two step process - get all set up with measured water and plaster powder to make a batch for the two sides of the object and also set up for a much smaller but thinner batch. Mix the first larger batch and pour the mold halves and wait as they set. When they are moderately firm, scratch the back with fork tines to give some texture and mix the second batch to about a thick cream and lay it on one side of the mold where it will form a glue/filler/join between the halves. Fold the mold and snap it, letting excess of the second batch squeeze out. Let the whole thing set up/cool down, remove it and clean the seam.

if you want to pour plaster of paris into a mold you will need a hole to pour it into... though that probably would make your mold useless for anything else. If it snaps together tight enough that no plaster will run out of the seams the easiest would probably be to make enough plaster so you can submerge your mold and close it while it is inside the plaster. Wipe the outside clean and let set. Of course that will also only work if there are no undercuts and the plaster comes off easily - you could also use some vaseline as a release agent.
