How to make organza chair sashes bows.?

• Hi, I am trying to make some organza chair sashes for our wedding. I have bought some rolls of 40cm x 9m organza. But I have sat looking at the rolls for days now wondering what to do with them !! We have a few different sized chairs but most are around similar size. Is there a way i can make them so they fit most sized chair without having to measure every one. maybe there is a standard length? How do i stop it fraying and how will i hem it (now im typing im thinking maybe it was a bad idea to buy it in rolls) so basically im saying i have some rolls of organza and need to make these into chair sashes (bows) how on earth do i do this ??
