How do i make a heatable teddy bear ?

  A friend of mine makes something like this. They are not shaped into teddies, however. To make hers, she makes a simple pouch out of an old pillow case or scrap fabric and fills it with rice (uncooked of course). She then makes a removable fleece covering that slips over it, to be removed while it's heating, and slipped back on before use. Without the fleece, it would be too hot to touch your skin once heated. as far as the teddy aspect, there are patterns for teddies at the following: http://teddiesbylauralynn.com/free-patterns/ I'm sure you could use a the same basic principals I mentioned above and just combine a teddy pattern with it to make it as you choose.
