How can I make my ordinary modeling clay hard?

  • see. i made a something out of my modeling clay. and since I can't find "air dry" modeling clay in the store i just decided to buy the ordinary one then thought of making it hard by any ways. unfortunately i still cant find any chemical or whatever that could make my clay hard. need help..

    if it is oil based modeling clay (plasticine or similar) it won't get hard. If you put it into an oven it will melt and burn. If you put it into a freezer it will be hard until it is thawed out again. Google playdoh recipes for recipe which uses flour and water and salt to make a modeling substance which can be baked hard.
