How to Make A Roller Coaster Out of Clay?

  • I want to make a really origial art project, a roller coaster. We have to make it out of clay, but now I'm stuck wondering, how in the world am I going to create that?

    Working? What for cars, or are you going to use marbles? The only possible way to make a working one I can see is to use one of the old wood coasters as your model - and not one that is very tall - and sculpt the supports for the track as solid (not all the lattice work except as scribed on) or actually solid walled slab built but hollow inside. Maybe use a kids toy or kids coaster at a park as a model.
