Need help identifying a coin?

I have a coin and I need help identifying it?

  • I think its a hindu coin...I found it on a walk one day, I would post a picture, but I can't but it says something along the lines of: 1 u(backwards r)n so urn with a backwards r, on top of that its got a swirly sign and the main picture is some temple, I think, on the other side it has a picture of a guy with glasses looking left and seems to be wearing some necklace...please help?

    if you live in a large city, take it to a bank that deals in international currency or a "money exchange" - they can tell you what country it came from. if it is an old coin, you might look up info in books on coins in your public library...

Is the guy Ghandi? Sorry cos i really imagine what the coin looks like. But judging from the backwards letters, I'd say it might be from Thailand or India.
