Hand blown glass.... how much should this object cost me to make?

• I want to make a glass case and the glass blowers have said to me what is my budget. I have no idea how much this should cost because I have never dont anything thing like this before. Details of the product are as follows: Clear glass bowl 10cm x 8cm. It is 8cm deep. I want to have two holes in the bottom 2.5cm diameter and the other 1cm diameter. The measurement do no have to be completely exact. I wouldn't expect to pay more than £40 British Pound or $62 US DOLLAR. I am based in London if that affects it. Thanks

  Are you talking to lampworkers, furnace glassblowers, or scientific glassblowers? Since you say bowl, are you wanting an open top 10x8 cm (about 4x3" in my American terms) so an oval bowl and then you want a large hole (1" is large if it has to be drilled) and a much smaller one and these arranged how - in a line. Almost any glass blower should be able to do it within your budget if they make anything similar to it (a solid glass sculptor would not) but I suspect many of them would not want to touch it out of suspicion that it is a part for weed smoking and that you are a narc want to arrest them for making paraphernalia
