What is the best photography college?

• ill be a junior in high school next year and its about that time .. college .. im just formulatin' ideas now, and im wondering what you guys speaking from your experience what is the best photography college ?? i am confident its what i wanna do forever.

  Here is a list of popular ones and includes a link to each for inquiring on information. I won't tell you which one is the best, as I did not go to one. In fact I seriously question the need for a school. I taught myself. I simply have a passion for what I do, so I applied myself to learning. I only started doing this 4 years ago. In that time, I quit my job, and now totally support myself through my art. And since I have a family with 4 kids and a stay at home wife, that means I am doing pretty good. I would not be doing good income wise if I did not have any talent. My point is, an education is nice, but not required to be successful. More so in this industry than ANY other. Promise. My strong suggestion is to get a degree in anything else and take a few photography classes on the side. Start your own little side business to pay for your equipment and gain experience. By the time you finish a 4 year degree in anything else, you will likely be able to do this full time. But if you can't, you have a degree where you can go out and get a job tomorrow.
