I can't find a free Photo editing software that can cut my picture without taking the background image.?
-
I am looking for afree downloadable picture/photo editing software, which is capable of cutting/copying a selected picture/image element without using the standard rectangular or free form select tools. My intension is to bring my brother's picture from a separate photograph/image file to the family picture/photo. when I use rectangular or free form select tools to cut the picture and paste it in to the family photo, it looks not good(lookes craked). This means one can easily see the difference. What I need is to integrate my brother's picture as if he was with us in the family photo when we take the picture. Hint: If I am not mistaken, before one/two months somebodies work (software product) was on the air on cp24 television or some other channel. He was demonstarting his work by cutting a dog picture from a diferent picture and integrating it with a family photo as if their dog was with them on vacation.

Answer:
several available , http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/gmm/fwgraphicedit.html start with photobie,gimp,.. you should be able to do what you asking about with these, what not clear , is size and resolution of each image, if added image is lower resolution, may need to increase to equal main image, if main is 300 res. , and copied image is 72 res. , need to increase,, then also once pasted into new layer on main image, move into place, resize if needed, edit contrast and colours, touch up edges, and save copy as jpg, save original for further use... what also is not clear, is how you want to select part of image, without using any select tools... read other answers... ..

The software you need to do what you are attempting is none other than Photoshop. However I have no idea where you can get a free version of it. With photoshop you can outline a picture then copy just what you have outlined. In the new picture you would outline a space to insert it then paste it in and you caqn actually put a new person in a space between two people in a picture. It is literally fantastic. Good luck.................
