How to do Color Editing?

Photo editing (adding color to B&W's)?

  • I was wondering if anyone new of any really good photo editing programs and how to get thing. One thing i am especially interested in is adding color to black and white photos, if anyone knows how to do that PLEASE SHARE ! :) thankyou ! sophie p.s what i mean by "adding color to black and white's" is lik in these pictures http://photobucket.com/images/color%20splash/?ref=homepagequad1 THANKS AGAIN

    well, photoshop is the best program out there, it's expensive but it's worth it, it has the most features, if you use that, then to make a b&w pic, with the object colored you have to use the lasso tool (magnetic recommended) and then go to image>hue/saturation and choose that box in the bottom right corner, and then choose the color you want.

Those photos were color to begin with and color was taken out, not added in. Added: yes, I do. In Photo Shop it is called layering.

definitely photoshop if you have a specific picture that you want with that email me i can do it otherwise there's a few camera's out there that come with a setting to do that
