    jutje, Unfortunately, mixedup is on the mark, there. Unless you can get a grant or scholarship, you're going to have to come up with some cash for schooling. However, while you're getting there, I'd advise checking out and reading books from a local library - there are plenty of photography books that will get you a real nice headstart. One excellent series is called The Ansel Adams Photography Series and it consists of 3 books: The Camera, The Negative, and The Print. These are very in-depth books and can be a bit dull in parts, but they will give you an excellent background and start on the workings of photography. I hope that is helpful for you. There is no "free" online school for photography. Nothing in life comes for free, least of all, any kind of education. You need to bite the bullet, save up a couple of hundred bucks and take some workshops.
