How do people download photos to online gallery while on the move?

How do people download photos on to online galleries such as flicker kodakgallery, when they are on the move? ie dont have their own laptop with them and are reliant on internet cafes... I'm thinking about this because if I was doing it I would take the lead with me - download photos onto hard drive and then upload photos on to flicker etc. But what if the PCs in internet cafe's etc don't let you download anything onto your hard drive.. I was wondering if there was an easier way than downloading onto a cds or a memory stick or something - like right from camera to flicker or another upload site of choice!

Problem here is that many internet cafes will not allow you access to their PCs to upload ANYTHING for fear of being infected with viruses.
