Okie so I'm in the 6th grade nd I wanna become a photographer when I grow up xD how much is the pay.? What kind of camera do I start off with.? how do I make pics look perfecttt.? I already take pics nd stuff on my phone but the camera on my cellphone is horrible and I wanna buy a camera to start off with tht isn't so expensive. I also wanna learn how to photoshop and take pics so it looks high quality. I already kno u hav to hav good lighting like in the sunlight but how do u make it perfect so its like PERFECTTLLYYY high quality and like awesome. I wanna start off now cuz i dont know any other jobs tht I'm interested in. I loveeee taking pics tho but sometimes I don't hav tht much time for it cuz of school and homework and babysitting and video games. I wanna learn exactly how to take perfect pics but not from reading a photography book only on the internet. I do edit pics I kno how to select one part nd paste it over xD like how I edit facebook statuses. I press prt screen on my keyboard and go to paint and select all and select the part I wanna edit and crop it and then I take another part of the photo and select it and copy it and then paste it onto the pic and move it in place xD. I like to take pics black nd white cuz it looks awesome. I wanna start off by taking pics of plants in my frontyard. Cuz like since my mom is soooo obbsessed with plant she like decorates the whole front yard with pretty flowers and plants ahahaha she even put 3 fountains. I wanna take hundreds of pics at first and save them in the camera and print them all out in one day and then save them in a envelope or something. I wanna take pics of like stuff outside and post them on a blog and get people to rate them and stuff. Okie so thas all. I hope I get answers cuz I usually don't -.- .

I love your enthusiasm! You seem to have picked up some good ideas - you know that some cameras are better to learn on than others (lots of people just want the best camera, as if that will make their photos awesome - it won't - it will just make higher quality rubbish); you also figured out that you have to learn how to be a good photographer and that the picture doesn't just come out - you have to learn to edit, too.... and you know about light (but sunlight is really not great light, except early in the morning and just before the sun sets - or it's it is overcast).- All that knowledge puts you in a good place to start. Making pictures look perfect has three steps: 1. recognising and selecting just what the elements of the image are and capturing them from the right angle, the right distance and the right perspective in the best light, using the most appropriate camera settings... sounds complicated, but what it means is, you need a camera where you can control the lens opening, shutter speed and focus of the camera, and learn about composition. It also helps if you have a viewfinder on the camera, not just screen. 2. Once you have captured the image, you need to be able to process it correctly to minise any shorcomings in the picture and do some minor editting (like straightening crooked horizons, or fixing white balance). Nothing major - you should have taken care of all the big things when you took the photo. 3. Presenting the photo - a picture that sits in the computer or justs get stuck in a book or in your drawer will never lead to improved photography - yoiu need to get it seen and criticised by people who really know their craft. The very best way is to join a camera club, either on line or in you locality (and on-line is way second best!); as part of presenting your photos, you need to see how others have done this. Start reading photo magazines and go to exhibitions and art galleries (not just photo galleries - the rules of composition that make great photos also applies to good painting and drawings: learn from the greats in all those fields. See what appeals to your and learn HOW they did it and WHY. In the meantime, to help you choose a camera and to start looking at some good critiqs and some excellent photos, go to betterphoto.com and try their on-line app to pick a camera.
