In this case, it wouldn't be too hard to just use the clone tool and "cover her up" with the white color of the wall. You would have to pick up the bead from the corner and clone that along to create it where ti is hidden by her head so it looks natural. You may have to play with the paintbrush a little to blend in the shadows and so on, but this is actually a good one to get started with, since she is already behind everyone else. If you don't know how to use the clone tool, just check "Help" for directions. Simple cloning is easy and it is essential to learn, so you may as well get started with this picture as your first project. ~~~~~~ I played with this picture for a little bit. The hot spots on the wall are making it very difficult to clone out "seamlessly," so maybe you should re-paint the wall as the Shrimp Doctor suggested. Also, it would be a lot easier to do a clean job with more pixels to work with. Perhaps you uploaded a small file size and you still have the original larger file to work with...

when i edit things out..: start at the top of the wall nearest the red girl. take the dropper tool and suck some color of the close wall and (using the paint tool) paint over the top of the girl. you will have to keep using the dropper tool at every difference in color of the wall, so when you keep painting it looks more natural. Do this slowly. After you paint over the girl, use the smudge tool to smear/blend the colors. i've been using photoshop for years, so if you're new with photoshop however, the results may vary. keep messing around with it and do it slowly. remember to use the smudge tool!

open it with Paint under Programs, Accessories. Then there's an option to trace out the shape to cut. Look for it. You might have to zoom in really close.

I have wondered that too.
