    I am getting a 404 error message from that link "Nobody home". Since I can't see your posted example, I can only take a guess from your additional detail "Then and Now Photography". That clue makes me think that you might be talking about a "Dear Photograph"..... like in this website: http://dearphotograph.com/ ETA: I was an idiot - it was my fault that I didn't see them. Got them now, and I guessed wrong. No clue if there IS a special term for it, but "then and now" makes sense. Awesome website - the photographer did an amazing job recreating everything down to the tiniest detail.

I am beginning to get a feeling that many terms about style and techniques in photography do not have names. The experts haven't gotten to sit down and give out names yet. As long as everybody understand each other perfectly then we can just concentrate on shooting rather than naming right? Who cares what's it called? Just shoot it and have fun bragging about making the shot!
