Where can I get digital photos converted into physical photo slides?

I am looking to get a few photos (a dozen or so) converted from digital form to photographic slide format to view them in a handheld projector. I have found several websites that do this as a service, but I would much rather do it locally (or at least conduct the transaction locally). Wal-Mart doesn't do it, and I am 99% sure CVS and Walgreens doesn't either. I'm in Dallas, if that helps.

Answer:
You can print them directly onto overhead projection film, make sure you get the one with the coating for inkjet as the coating for laser printers won't accept ink. You will need your printer set to a very high resolution 2400 dpi or more to keep the detail. 2400 is the maximum resolution of the overhead film I buy for just this purpose, cut them out of the sheet and mount in a 35mm plastic frame, it works very well. You might have to find a company that focuses on those types of things. I work at a CVS and I know for a fact that we do not do that, since everything is going digital and such. Sadly, I would say that your only hope is to find a decent website. :/

Buy a film SLR and feed it a roll of color slide film. Take a picture of the monitor of your computer. that's how we did it way before projectors got interconnected to computers around 20 years ago.
