How do I do the ranking pictures thing on Myspace?

Sometime on like myspace or facebook I see pictures that are black and white except for like one thing.?

  • How do you do that?

  • Answer:

    special editing programs allow you to desaturate the rest of the picture while keeping one thing still colored. (desaturated is just making it black and white lol) so if you want to do that, you need an editing program first. any photoshop program. go to www.download.com they have tons of stuff. help this helps!

Get Photoshop. Choose 'black and white' option use the lasso tool to put colors back in.

It's called a "cutout". With Photoshop you can select the part of the picture you want in color and desaturate (turning into grayscale, that is) the rest of the picture.

i have a canon sd 750 which allows me to do that manually with my camera, it's a nice feature. But if you do not have that capability on your camera there is always photoshop. Set the opacity low on the color you choose and painbrush it over the black and white. There are also photo markers you can get from local craft stores
