How do i become a digital journalist and what jobs can i get as one?

• so i just graduated high school and didn't go to college because i don't know what i want to do. im jumping from job to job but quiting them because i don't want to get stuck their and be like the 40 year old "bob" who has been working the same dead end job for 20 years. i have always been the artsy type of guy, playing guitar, listening to music, and doing art. my dream is to travel the world. I heard some people talking the other day in best buy talking about their son leaving for ireland because he was a digital journalist. the job sounded pretty cool. so what does i Intel? were do i go to school and what classes do i take? what is the annual salary? and what type of jobs can i get as a digital journalist. i understand that you go around taking pictures but im pretty sure it goes deeper than that lol.
