How do I get on a Digital Flat Panel Monitor the real color to be printed in a photograph? I want to calibrate
-
I am editing photos using adobe Photoshop, but whenever I go to the Photo store and send them to print in good photo paper the come out dark usually. Is it true that you should not use flat panel monitors to work on photographs and that you should use the old CRT Monitors instead? How can I solve the Problem, I have an LG L195WS, and I am trying to use the NORMAL profile on the monitor's setting....

Answer:
You can use a CRT or an LCD, but you should have it calibrated to match lighting in the room and the color space of the print lab you send your prints to. Look up monitor calibration in Yahoo or Google. There are quite a few out there.
