What exactly do you do for a photography major in college?

Best college to major in photography?

I want to major in Fine Arts photography and Portraiture photography. I was looking at The Art Institutes website but you cant get info from them without giving you their number and they CALL CALL CALL!!! Its annoying. Also I want the college to be in California! I am a Junior in High School so I think I need help figuring this out now! Thank you so much for your help!!! :D
