It sounds like you might be interested in Fashion Photography. Maybe you should do some research into that field.

What you want to do is commercial photography. Fashion is a specialty within commercial photography. I think once you get started in photography, in school or as an assistant, you'll find out exactly what it is that you want to shoot. As far as cameras are concerned, what you get now is not likely what you will use as a pro so don't kill yourself trying to get something too expensive. The difference between entry level and upper level amateur cameras is not going to matter to you. It's when you get into pro cameras that you take a big leap in performance and the cost is quite high. A nikon D3100 will suit your needs fine and a lens that is 200mm at the long end will be more than enough. I don't know the options for schools in Las Vegas but you are not too far from Los Angeles and you can try to get into the Art Center. Also look into Santa Barbara. Do not worry about equipment. You are a long way from needing anything professional. A simple camera and a decent zoom lens is all you need. Once you get into school they will have you need to use as far as lighting and what not. Concern yourself with learning about photography and as you get going you will find your way. Good luck.
