Free resources for learning studio lighting techniques?

Hi...can someone recommend any cheap books or preferably free internet resouces that give some studio lighting techniques, such as how to arrange lighting, when/how to use differnt things like softboxes, reflectors, unbrellas and other sorts of adapters and things of that nature? Thanks kindly
