• Im wanting a digital slr camera for wildlife and landscape mainly, can anyone help me by giving me an overall conclusion on the Samsung gx-1l? Pros and cons?   Being essentially a Pentax *ist DL, this is a good camera, with a very good selection of lenses. The 70-300mm lens is unfortunately as good as a paperweight, you'll be looking for something a bit better at the long end if you're shooting wildlife. The 18-55mm is a decent lens (being essentially the same as the Pentax 18-55mm lens), and reasonably well suited for landscape photography. What I'd worry about this camera is the lack of stabilisation, later on Pentax went down the route of in-camera image stabilisation, however that technology came after this camera, and you aren't able to buy stabilised lenses for Pentax cameras.
