I have an old painting, of what appears to be a view from across the Seine River in Paris France. Help please?
-
Okay, I've been to France and the painting reminds me A LOT of the architecture there. It's done in oil with a paddle (or painting knife or whatever it's called). No brush strokes. Anyway, I purchased it a few years ago at an antiques store and have been trying for ages to find out who painted it. The signature is in the lower right in a yellowish hue and it just says Garber. At least I'm pretty sure that's what it says. I've found a couple of artists with "Garber" as their last name, and actually Daniel Garber's work reminds me of my own painting, however he signed his works differently. I don't know. Any help, or suggestions on who to contact or what to do would be really appreciated!

Answer:
photobucket the painting and repost it in another question. I'd need to see it.
