Easy face painting ideas?

  • I was asked to face paint at the races tomorrow. I have never done face painting before and I'm sure there will be loads of kids queueing to get there face done. Does anyone have quick face painting ideas? or links to any websites/videos? Thanks.

    I've done face painting loads of times :) Many kids won't know what they want. Ask them direct questions (not just "what do you like?") Ask if they have any pets. Kids love getting their cat or dog in the right colors. It really helps to have a sheet of sketches that you know you can do. That way, not only they can see what you can make and choose, you can also use it as a "cheat sheet" if you're iffy on shapes or colors! little girls love butterflies, hearts, those type of things. And a lot of kids like those full face paints, like to look like a dog or something. They take a bit longer but their more popular.
