What are some good, low budget ideas to do at high school for peace week? like face painting?

  • we arent charging for anything so every idea must be low in budget. everything must be done in a day so nothing like tye dying shirts please

    How wonderful your school cares about what goes on in the world already! How about cutting some large watercolor paper into post card size pieces and painting peace signs on them in bright colors. Then, on the back, put quotes by famous humanitarians and peacemakers. A few students could be selected to give speeches made by famous people in the "peace field" during lunch break. Perhaps one each day of the week. You could also have students submit speeches they would like to give on their own on this subject. Another idea would be to invite public figures in your area to come to school for an assembly to say something about peace. You would have to let them know ahead of time that the school can't pay anything. I wish you the very best with this project.
