  I think all of them made innovative art works. Though their styles, way of working and lives were very different. Van Gogh got stuck in making very expressive paintings but never was able to make a living from them; Pablo Ruiz "Picasso" was inspired really by everything wich interesred him and spread different styles on his painting while being an excellent drawer; Salvador Dalí had a brother who died and also called Salvador Dalí, so that probably was a good beginning for his excentricity; and Andy wanted to be famous, as american standards required for an artist; Leonardo da Vinci is further in time and he was genial in many specialities, he made the most reknowned artwork in the world
