Hey what paint can i use for painting a canvus style shoe?

hey everyone i just bought some white colored canvas shoes. i was wondering i want to start to paint on them but i wasn't sure what type of paint to use because i was told acrylic paints crack and aren't made to stretch on the surface of say a shoe. is there any place where i can get some paint that will stretch. thanks guys

I heard you're supposed to use acrylic, but I don't like it. I haven't tried fabric paint, but that'll obviously work. I'm currently trying to figure out if I can use oil paints! Probably can, though. :P
