Have any surrealism ideas?

  • I know its supposed to come from a dream or whatever but i had an ideas that my teacher didn't like so i need some ideas from your crazy dreams and stuff for surrealism painting

Look at the works of Rene Magritte and Salvador Dalí for inspiration. Basically just draw things that don't make sense. Some weird dreams I've had include a cat walking on the ceiling, a toilet that talked, an owl with three eyes, and walking trees. Hope that helped.

Ideas for a surrealistic painting is really a no brain-er... What I would worry about, if I were you, is painting the ideas onto canvas in a way that better expresses the ideas your trying to display.
