What does Pablo Picasso mean?

How can I be like Picasso?

  • my major is art.I paint and I love painting so much.my paintings are not so bad.I mean I think there are good.but what do u think what did Pablo Picasso have to be Picasso?Paris?fortune?was he in a good age?

  • Answer:

well for starters he was one of a kind. though he admired others (before and contemporary) and tried to do their work in his own style. he was super curious and had a genuine lust for life. he definitely believed in himself, artist and person. he never seized to try new things: themes, media. and he always started working, I mean, he was very productive and just needed to create. now I don't know what exactly you mean by 'being like Picasso': do you want to be good or famous? anyway, you're half way by 'I love painting so much'

If you love painting , instead of crying PICASSO! PICASSO! try to evolve your own unique style , which is what PICASSO did.

Analyze Picasso's drawings.. Notice that he had a knack for picking out the important parts in a picture or scene and highlighting them, and also, in some of his paint's, the seemingly unimportant parts are highlighted, confusing the viewer at first, until it dawns on him or her that the truly important part is the one he or she hadn't noticed b4..... Anyway, i digress, Wats important is u develop ur own style, something uniquely u, that is both bold and assertive, yet fascinates it's audience, then, i have no doubt that u could become a modern day Picasso.... Gud luck with your paintings, i look forward to seeing them in a gallery in New York or Paris someday... hehehe....

I don't know much about you but Picasso was a protege child. He was already painting when he was 4 and when he was a teen he ws painting beautiful figurative work and portraits. Art was a big part of his life and probably the number one thing in life that he cared about. He would spend all days painting and drawing, He would draw non stop, on napkins in restaurants and he would spend most of his days in his studio. Picasso was not rich when he started but sacrificed his home and comfort to become a great artist. I guess to be like Picasso would be to paint and draw constantly and to put your art in front of everything in your life, your family, friends, love and concentrate on art. Move to New York and get to know all the people in the art world and to get recognized by them. Do innovative art and come up with new ideas constantly or steal them. Never stop and keep pressing the envelope. I hope it helps.
