Need help analyzing a painting!!!?

• I'm having a litle trouble analyzing this painting http://www.dinovalls.com/gal_pic.php?file=63&page=&dir=l The painting is called "the wound", As far as I get, the girl has a wound in her "heart" or sth like that and she has it covered, but now she's showing it, the wound is the dramatic face on her chest, that's what I believe, can you please tell me what you get from looking at this painting..a possible meaning......and what does the portrait on the background has to do with it?

  just looked at it for 3 seconds... they say trust your first instincts. shes looking disappointed because you're looking at her chest, as men do, but she is looking back at you, to see you looking where? she has an abused point of view of being observed, painted. yet her face is longing for you to see her. to see it. that's one initial thought...from a darkly comical mind. on further examination, her expression makes me think soulful, and i see the pain of a wound you talk of, its a soulful wound id say. disappointment, consideration, reflection, its making you look back at yourself,... could they even be 'your eyes' on her chest looking back? after all, the only real eyes are the ones looking at the picture... ;o) ... shes a witch..lol. seeing the eyes lined up is shouting meaning but i cant put my finger on it. the old wise eyes in the background, the current eyes of a concerned woman, and the fearfull eyes on her chest of the future to be born from her bossom. as she looks from the wall at the world passing by, an echoe of an inanimate object. the artist is a prophet. the woman is mankind the observer, showing us where to look. but then i guess arts just opinion and inspiration, there is no right or wrong ;o) as a wise man once told me, dont paint all the details in a picture, people like to fill in the gaps themselves, meaning is personal. ...edited, just posted this and a song came on, massive attack, safe from harm. you should listen to that track and look at the picture, they really complement each other.
