How long does modroc take to dry?

How long does it take this paint to dry?

  • I'm using this kit called "Glass Stone Art Mini-Book & Kit", and it says that you need to paint the foreground first and the background last. I'm assuming that when the foreground dries, you can use a color to paint over everything and have that as the background. What it doesn't mention is how long the paint takes to dry, so I don't want to paint over it until I'm sure it's dry. I've tried touching it after creating two other foregrounds for two other pieces, but it still wasn't dry, and the paint came off. For one, is my theory, that once the foreground is dry, you can use a color to paint over everything to make the background, correct? And second, if that's the case, how long does it take the paint to dry? If my theory is wrong, I'm assuming I'd just have to paint every crevice, which, since the stone is so small, will be annoying for me, but I want to get these done soon, so I'll do it if I must. Also, if my theory is right, the back would look beautiful being one color. Sorry if I sound like an idiot, I've never painted glass stone art before, and the instruction book really doesn't include much information.
