Where do I find art locally?

I need some funky new art pieces. Such as bright fruit or bright designs...like pop art. I don't want it framed, I prefer it to be on a canvas, I love the canvas look because it gives depth to the art instead of just a flat piece of paper. I am only 17, and I have no idea where to find art like this. I don't really like ordering online. If it makes any difference, I live in Buffalo, NY.
