How much can I get for my custom x bodyboard?

Where should i go to get my guitar custom painted?

  • I have an Epiphone SG custom with all chrome hardware, a dark cherry finish and a full black pick guard. I dont know the wood types. I have always wanted a white custom sg but i dont know when i would ever have that kind of money (i'm still in high school). I decided today that i was instead going to slowly upgrade my guitar. So after i upgrade from my stock humbuckers to quality emgs, im going to save up for new gold hardware, a new half pick guard, and a custom paint job ( I know this will also cost a lot!). all i want is the guitar to be solid white and have the headstock to say Gill (my last name) in gibson font and have the gibson custom symbol on it. I live north of chicago and was wondering what the best place to get it painted would be. Price is a factor but i do want the guitar to be in good hands!

  • Answer:

Go to the Gibson website. They may have information about painting guitars there, or you can get their phone number to call and talk to them about it. I'm sure they get lots of questions about painting their guitars because I answer questions about painting guitars at least 3 times a year.

I would go to guitar center or sam ash and ask them.
