How do you get paint out of carpet?

How can I get acrylic paint off of furniture and carpet?

• My brother was shooting me with a toy helicopter while I was trying to paint and i guess when I swung to get it away it went onto the carpet and couch. I also must of stepped in it and got it onto a few more places. I tried to get it out and when I woke up I was gonna search how to but my mom found out. I didn't want to make her mad but now I need to best solution to get it out. Please help me I don't want to make her even more mad if there's no solution.
