How could I use the title 'Ordinary and/or Extraordinary' in my GCSE art and textiles exams?
-
Alright, I am doing my GCSE's and I have stupidly taken both art and textiles. For our exam, we have been given the title 'Ordinary and/or extraordinary' and I have 8 weeks to complete an A4 art book for both. My question is how would you use this title to make your own work? What sort of things would you research? For art - Artist? For textiles - Designers? You would be helping me out so much if you could give me some artists or designers that would be a good starting point for both exams. Thanks x

Answer:
You could do a collage with scraps of various textiles and various papers, making sure to incorporate different textures and methods of painting both the papers and the textiles. Tissue paper crumples beautifully when attached to canvas and also to textiles.
