How did Picasso change art?

What is the name of the Picasso painting that appears in "The World of Art" from the movie Pleasantville?

  • In the movie "The World of Art" by Edward Bissell is a completely made up book, but the works of art are real. There is one picture where the women is resting (according to Mr. Johnson), but crying (according to Betty Parker). In the caption it claims the work of art is "Women stretched out with arms under neck on a red bed" by Pablo Picasso, but whenever i search for this work, it appears it doesn't exist. What is this piece of art, and where might I find it?

well i dont remember the movie that detailed enough, but i found a script of the movie and it says its suppose to be picasso's weeping women, with rendered colors. that's suppose to be what they're looking at when she says she's crying. i looked it up and found there's a whole weeping woman series. good luck.
