What coffee to use in a coffee painting?

I tried coffee painting months ago, the coffee I used was too light, it was those kinds of coffee that you can just buy anywhere, is there any specific kind of coffee i should use?
Answer:

any coffee will work, thats what i think is great about it. if your having issues with it being to light try steeping it longer. its also worth mentioning that coffee paintings are not archival. another similar medium is root beer concentrate.
