The first one isn't beautiful. It invokes feelings of fear. Also the colours are nuetral and look dingy. The lines are harsh. The second one is beautiful. The woman has a flawless complexion, her face is pretty (Symetrical, closest to average, no mutations) and the lines and colour are soft and flowing. The third one is... well... I'd say playful. It makes me feel happy and whimsical. Makes me think of a cottage in forested mountains in fall. So yes, beautiful could be used to describe this I suppose.

1 3 2 I think true beauty is natural, and not something forced, like number two. It seems to perfect to ever be applied to reality, and thus looses it's interest and beauty for me. I think one is beautiful because it represents the beautiful human body- which despite countless trials, is still as alive today as it was in that image. Number 3 is interesting. The colours are nice, but the painting holds no interest for me. However I find it more appealing and asthetically pleasing than the insipid bland image number two.

For my taste, the only one which is beautiful is #2, Bouguerea's "Evening Mood." The colors, the strokes, the subject and the composition are all stunning. The first one is disturbing, though interesting. The last one bores me after about 15 seconds.

2, then 3, then 1. I don't really know why. I guess for 2 probably because the human body is biologically supposed to look beautiful to other humans, and also because most humans think that landscapes of long stretches of country land like this are beautiful. The third one is also beautiful to me, mostly because of the warm colors the artist used, and how they match. The first one just looks a little strange. The face looks kind of creepy, and the color scheme is not something I would describe as beautiful.

The second is beautiful because the composition is good, the technique is good, and the picture actually tells a story (looks like possibly the birth of Venus). The first is not beautiful because the composition is bad, it is rather juvenile, it does not convey a message or tell a story. The third is just a yellow abstract that means nothing. The colors are nice, but poor composition, no story.
