What type of paint should I use to put pictures on a bedside table?
-
Hi! Yesterday I bought two really nice end tables (which I will be using as bedside tables) off of craigslist. I am sanding them right now and then after I finish sanding I know I have to do the primer and then I am going to spray paint them black. But I want to put pictures on the top and then put some type of clear coat over so that it looks like the pictures are in the table. I know that hodge podge would work but I'm worried that the pictures will run from hodgepodge. Is there some other kind of clear paint that won't ruin the pictures? Thank you for anyone who knows!

Answer:
To seal the pictures, make sure that they are perfectly dry for a t least 1 whole day. Then use a clear polyurethane varnish, two coats should do the trick.
