What's the name of this painting?

  • I saw a painting on Wikipedia and I'm trying to find it again. It was basically a model train coming straight out of a fireplace of a living room, as if there were invisible tracks underneath it (or there might have been tracks in the painting, but I'm not sure, in either case, the train (or train and tracks) were suspended in mid-air). It was by the same artist who painted a portrait of a man with his back facing the viewer of the painting, and a mirror in front of the man, but the image of the man in the mirror also shows his back instead of his face. I guess the genre would be contemporary, but I'm not familiar with art terms. Other than the obvious things that were impossible in real life, the painting was fairly realistic. I think it was painted around the mid 20th century, but I'm not sure. Any help in identifying the painting or artist would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
