What are some funny colours, sad colours, fearful colours?

• I'm doing an art project for school, and need funny colours, sad colours, and fearful colours.....colours of laughter would work as well

  Funny colors are typically going to warm colors, perhaps mixed with some neons if you're going for a sense of excitability, and pastel warm colors if you're going for something more whimsical. Warm colors exude energy and a sense of brightness. Sad colors are going to be your cool colors, mainly blues, and you can even mix in some greys, black, dark bluish browns and muted purple. People say that they're 'feeling blue' for a reason. :) Fearful colors are going to depend on what the context is, but will probably be muted muddy and warm and cool earth tones with one bright color scattered in there to break it up. Fear is kind of like waiting for something to strike, which is why mixing the muddy colors with a sudden splash of brightness would create a lot of tension, and convey some anxiety to the viewer.
